Project Description

The project focuses on structure-function studies of membrane-bound bioenergetic enzymes, with an emphasis on proton-coupled electron transfer reactions in Complex I and related proteins. The studies are conducted using various biophysical and spectroscopic methods.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves structure-function studies of membrane proteins using biophysical and spectroscopic methods, particularly NMR spectroscopic studies of membrane-bound protein complexes.

Eligibility Requirements

A researcher is primarily employed for research and must have obtained a PhD or have a foreign degree that is deemed equivalent to a PhD.

Assessment Criteria

In the appointment process, special emphasis will be placed on scientific competence. A PhD in biophysics is required. Previous experience in biophysics and protein biochemistry, mutagenesis experiments, membrane dynamics, as well as NMR spectroscopic studies of protein dynamics is also required.

About the Position

The position is full-time and is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
